THOR – The Rock Opera Thunders Into Scandinavia!

Thunderous news is emanating from Asgard itself – The Rock Warrior THOR is set to release a new movie and soundtrack: THOR – THE ROCK OPERA!

The Thunder Chariot is gearing up to speed across stormy skies to bring The Rock Warrior THOR to select Scandinavian cities to debut the new movie and soundtrack: THOR – THE ROCK OPERA! Also, THOR and The Imps will reunite as part of the new THOR – THE ROCK OPERA LIVE show which will follow the movie.

THOR and The Imps first united as a band in 1976 when Jon Mikl Thor took legendary guitarist Frank Soda to Toronto for a series of concerts. As part of the show THOR would pick Frank up over his head while he played guitar and throw him into the audience. THOR and The Imps grabbed the attention of KISS's manager Bill Aucoin who invited them to open for KISS at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. The band went on to record the album MUSCLEROCK in 1976 which will be re-released exclusively for the "MUSKELROCK Festival 2011". The Swedish festival was named after that album and in honour of Jon Mikl Thor "King Of Muscle Rock".
